Who we are :

Fabheads Automation is a fast growing startup in the field of manufacturing automation. We are founded by IIT alumni and Ex-ISRO engineers. We have indigenously developed Asia’s first Carbon Fiber 3D printer series, and supply the same to clients in sectors like Aerospace and defense. We make drones, rocket and satellite components, robots, defense components and many similar high performance products.

We have been awarded Startup of the year, 2020 in Industry 4.0 sector. We have won several accolades from Defense and Industry forums, have been covered by Startup Champions Series on Doordarshan and are working on some very exciting projects which have never been done before by Indian Startups.

Job Role :

You job requirements will include the following, but not limited to:

  • Carry out project-wise design efforts of CAD cum FEA.
  • Detailed FEA analysis including non-linear, vibration, impact and other analyses.
  • Leading technical interactions with Project Manager / clients.
  • Assist in product Fabrication Planning based on FEA.
  • Assist quality procedures from Design POV, provide necessary inputs.
  • Generate design documentation as per ISO / AS / other certification, whichever applicable.
  • Generate test and inspection plans as per design.

Skills :

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in FE analysis – Both theory and practice. Preferably ANSYS, Abaqus or Nastran.
  • Experience in Composite (FRP) FE analysis is a big plus.
  • Conversant with industry standards for FEA based product optimization related to aerospace, defense etc.
  • Experience in FE based fabrication planning is a plus.

Professional Requirement :

  • Proficient in Mechanical design – theoretically and practically.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical engineering or related coursework.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Other qualities :

  • Ability to adapt to company culture & values.
  • Comfortable with autonomy and uncertainty. Should have “can do” and “get things done” attitude.
  • Open to new ideas and adaptable in a fast-paced Start-up environment.
Key Responsibilities

Compensation

  • CTC up to 6.5-10 LPA (based on skills and experience) with performance based incentives.
  • Exceptional candidates can be considered for ESOPs as well.
