Knowledge

Additional Job Description

  • Working knowledge of GA process, vehicle Structure, Equipment & material handling systems.
  • Working knowledge in Technomatic Process Simulate, Teamcenter, MS Office applications.
  • Basic knowledge of PLM Structures, Methodology & interface with manufacturing.
  • Basic understanding of the automotive new product development process (GxDP & GLP).

Skills

  • Data analysis and research to assess process improvement opportunities.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem solving & analytical skills.

Ability

  • Ability to work with intercultural & multi-disciplinary teams to achieve enterprise goals.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Production/Automobile Engineering discipline.

Experience

  • 4+ years of GA process & simulation experience from Automotive OEMs / Engineering Organizations & simulation experience from Automotive OEMs / Engineering Organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Major Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Create / update VOT (Virtual Operator Training) through Vizendo application for all new GM program as per the launch team & content of the program.
  • Coordinate VOT module development project with stake holder and deliver VOT content to program team as per program content.
  • Execute Static, Dynamic Simulation study and Virtual Build activity.
  • Drive process excellence metrics like 100% First Time Quality, 100% On time delivery, 95% Efficiency, 85% Project Utilization by adhering to standardized work.
  • Drive continuous process improvement within the team
  • Represent GA simulation in the appropriate forums. Participate in global product development working calls & team meetings.
  • Capture and share lessons learned within the team.
  • Enhance team's capabilities by bringing in innovation.

 

Skill & Experience
You have at least 4 Years of Experience Data analysis and research to assess process improvement opportunities.
