Position Title: Senior CAE Engineer: Multi Body Dynamics

Job Description:

• The Candidate should be a specialist with working experience of Multi Body Dynamics (MBD) simulations on complex assemblies using advanced simulation tools like ANSYS Motion or Simcenter 3D Motion or any other similar tools
• Should possess good working knowledge of Structural Analysis and well experienced with related tools (like ANSYS)
• Should be able to independently/efficiently plan-execute complete simulation process, starting from understanding the designer’s requirements, preprocessing, setup, solving, post-processing, results interpretation and report out
• Should possess strong analytical skills and ability to do hand calculations (related to Engineering Mechanics and MBD) to provide quick design directions, also to verify correctness of simulation behavior
• Should possess very good ability to get useful interpretation from the CAE simulation results and relate them to corresponding physical Mechanism or Tests to arrive at useful conclusions for product design improvement
• Should be able to independently collaborate with product Design team, product Testing team, CAE team and other relevant stack holders to contribute in better product design and development
• Experience in simulation correlation with Test would be an added advantage

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

• Detailed knowledge about Multi Body dynamics theory and application.
• Well working with simulation tools like ANSYS Motion/Siemens 3D motion, Ansys Work bench, Structural, Meshing tools etc.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good at technical documentation and technical report writing.
• Good interpretation and presentation skills.
• Very good team player.

Desired Skills & Abilities:

• Experience of Model correlations with Test Required Education and/or Experience:
• Master in Mechanical / Automotive / Aerospace / Robotics Engineering or relevant streams.
• At least 4 years of experience in executing multi body dynamics simulations (both rigid and Flexible bodies), Structural simulations (linear/non-linear)
